Steve, I noticed that you have the same power supply that I have. (Great, isn’t it!) It is made by a Chinese company, and sold by a LOT of different companies here in the US, costing from around $60 bucks to over $150! Personally, I love mine!
I have no idea what instructions you got with yours, (mine were pretty awful) but I’ve found some that explain how to make it work as DC voltage only (figuring out how much amperage is needed) or how to set it for specific amperage and let it figure out the voltage. If you’d like them, let me know and I’ll send you these instructions.
All the best to you and yours. I’ve fought cancer myself (and know what a pain it is) and I lost my father to cancer, so I can honestly say that (at least in some ways) I know what you are going through. All I can say is that I wish the best for you. Life often throws us some nasty curveballs… it is how one deals with them that makes us who we are!
I can tell you that one of the things I look forward to every day is your post. I’ve been a model and prop builder most of my life (I remember when the very FIRST U.S.S. Enterprise kit came out!) and I find your videos both informative and just a lot of fun.
The NX looks great as well as the Time Machine. I noticed the ALL Electronics LED checker on your desk. A very handy tool to own. Keep up the great work, Steve!
