Incredible Work of Brad Hoplock

To read all the details regarding this go to www.butsomethingisthere.wordpress.com

Brad made this as a low res test. He has since sent me a hi res that will be posted as a completed short trailer later this week. It was just so good I just had to share the low res. This captures the true mood and feeling of, “But Something is There”. A true story. My story.

Please follow the blog. We past the 3/4 mark on this production with only a few shooting days left. This is real. We are funded. and we have been in production of this TV pilot since April.

This is something I’ve wondered for some time. It seems that it is a more recent thing. The question is, Why are so many films color-corrected to be entirely a blue tint. I have always thought, and my son mentioned it also, that it takes away from the realism of the scene. One technique years ago was the use of a soft focus especially when filming women in romantic situations. That type of effect isn’t an issue. In other instances where lighting is soft also helps. But I just can’t hardly accept the blueness. Of course that isn’t Nearly as irritating as the use of the damn shaky drunken camera effect. I quit watching many a show and film because of it. The greatest invention was the steady-cam.
