Thursaday. Robots and strange humans

So far so good. It is a puzzle.

Again other than videos of the Mondo  action figure, the movie, and pictures I have little to go on. I made a lot of screen grabs at various angles which has helped a lot but at this point its sculpting with geometry and what looks right to the eye. And it’s working. I guess I have done this before!

The torso is shaping up and once you get a few pieces in place it starts to make sense to you and your eyes tell you, a little to the right, a little less there and increase that angle. And the more you tweak and tweak the more it looks right to you.

This is the hardest part of the robot. It get easier from here. The parts you see now are all polystyrene cut from the cardboard templates.

Paulina has done an excellent job on her Visitor makeup. We will mold this next week in 1630.

It is so admirable that you are concerned on the ‘exactness’ of TGR. With nothing canon to go by and Adam saying you are using the best reference that is out there – you are going to have one of the most definitive pieces of all! And, um, geez it is gonna be big!
